Polyphasic Sleep – Day 18

3am – 0min
Well, what a way to start the day.  Since I didn’t sleep during the last session either, that makes two in a row.  Hmm… Not sure what will happen today.  Will probably screw it up during this time or the 7am time.  Anyway, I am extremely hungry and I knew I should have eaten something, even if it was small, but I forgot and so I think that had a lot to do with not sleeping.  Right now I am having some cold barley soup, that’s a beer for those not familiar with the term.  Also, I was right in the middle of watching The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, so maybe that had something to do with it also.

7am – 42min
If it wasn’t for my back up computer clock, I would have overslept.  I don’t remember my timer going off at all.  Right now, I feel like I need a nap.  I may just try and get another nap session in. Okay, I took another nap, but I still feel kind of out of it.

11am – 32min
I made it to the drive thru of the local Whataburger with 10 minutes to spare before they stopped serving breakfast.  Ordered my Saturday ritual Potato, Egg, & Cheese Taquito; added some garlic salt and picante sauce to it.  Yes, I keep garlic salt in the truck :-)   Pulled into the next parking lot and proceeded to savor every bite.  Once I was finished, I put the seat back and fell asleep.  I didn’t have a timer, so I just let myself figure it out.  I slept longer than my normal 18 minutes, but felt really good when I woke.

3pm – 26min
I had just finished my Main Street Coffee Bar regular Saturday routine and it was a little after 3pm.  So, I pulled into another parking lot and fell asleep.  Again, woke feeling really good.

7pm – 16min
Took me a little to fall asleep, but eventually I did… I am awake and alert.

11pm – 00min
lol… I wasn’t planning it, but I guess I just barely made it under 2hrs for the day since I didn’t sleep this time.  I was getting sleepy around 9pm, but then I started working on the site more.  Actually doing fun stuff and right before 11pm I download the free video capture software from CamStudio guess I can’t get any commissions from them since it is free.  Anyway, you can imagine my brain was going down every avenue of adventure using this software.  Then I started thinking about pod-casting to make the site even more user friendly.  One of the perks of Polyphasic is after you get over the initial omg, there is no way, your mind starts to adapt and I have noticed a certain quick clarity.  I mean I have always had that but Polyphasic seems to sharpen mental skills.  I know it seems like it should be the opposite, but I am definitely noticing perhaps cleaner pathways to information stored in my brain.

Oh and if that wasn’t enough to keep me awake, the latest and final season of  24: Season 8 is now available to watch on my Roku, so I will be watching that… I may have to take tomorrow off just to watch that.  lol…
