Blogging Day 69 March 23, 2011

Business Blog
I spent my entire Internet Marketing day finishing the site Hard Drive Enclosure.  There is still a lot of little stuff to do, but the big stuff is done.  Even though it is a Micro Niche site and more of a landing page right now, there is a lot of competition and a niche should  not only be micro, but also low competition.

Personal Blog
My review of What if…

Would-be preacher Ben Walker (Kevin Sorbo) left his church and his college sweetheart, Wendy (Kristy Swanson), for a lucrative career, but when the slick executive’s new ride breaks down, angelic tow-truck driver Mike (John Ratzenberger) offers to show where Ben’s life might have gone. In this comedy of second chances, Ben awakens to find Wendy and their kids getting ready for church, while ahead of him lies a day of reckoning and reconsideration.

The first thing that comes to mind is What if I never started this movie… I am sorry guys, but I stopped this movie and according to Netflix, I stopped at exactly 34 minutes into it.  It is extremely rare for me to stop watching a movie after I started it, but this was just not doing it for me.  The opening where he is supposed to be some corporate big shot, just doesn’t sit well with the Captain of Andromeda, Hercules image I have of him.  I like Kevin, but in this I just couldn’t make it past the beginning.  I may come back to it as it probably is going to get back in line with his strengths of honor and stuff, but for now, I am passing on this one.  Unless someone posts it is a great movie and I should watch it, chances of me doing it are slim.

Shifting gears to Army Wives: Season 1

Kim Delaney and Catherine Bell head a spectacular ensemble cast as members of a group of Army spouses who support one another through the pain and struggles of seeing their loved ones sent into harm’s way. Through it all, the women share the dark personal secrets each one harbors. This compelling dramatic series also stars Sally Pressman, Brigid Brannagh, Brian McNamara, Sterling K. Brown, Wendy Davis and Drew Fuller.

Now this series is worth watching.  I am on episode 5 now and it is going strong for me.  I actually look forward to watching it.  If you have Instant Watch you should add this to your queue.

Little Notes:

  • It is coming down to the wire on this month Polyphasic Sleep goal of averaging under 3 hours of sleep a day for the entire month of  March.  It will be interesting to see how this unfolds.

Checking Netflix Instant Watch releases and adding the following to my queue:
