Yes, Stargate Universe is going great.  To just imagine being stuck on a ship like that and trying to make it home; the despair sometimes would be practically crippling I would think.

Little Notes:

  • My walk today was nice.  It reminded me of my hometown of Corpus Christi where it is always windy.  In the early mornings in Corpus I would walk along the bay front and feel the strong cool wind blowing against my face, watch the sun rise,  listen to the crash of the waves and the distant cry of the sea gulls.  The smell of the salt air is something most take for granted, I know I did.  Although I live in Bay City, there is no bay.  However, on days like today, when the wind is strong enough and coming from the right direction it carries the hint of the salt air from the gulf and it always makes me smile.

Checking Netflix Instant Watch releases and adding the following to my queue:

  • Hunter Prey – The spaceship Prometheuss carrying dangerous cargo — a lethal alien prisoner — when it crash-lands on a barren planet. The crew members search for their escaped prey until it becomes clear that they’re the ones being hunted. Severely handicapped by their orders not to harm the creature, the space commandos soon find themselves outmatched, and they begin to question just what their superiors want with this vicious beast.
  • The Joneses – Keeping up with the Joneses (Demi Moore, David Duchovny, Amber Heard and Ben Hollingsworth) is next to impossible, considering they’re a family with good looks, fancy cars, a sprawling estate — and a shocking secret the neighbors would never guess
  • Three Rivers: Season 1 – A new twist on the television medical drama, this one-season series set in a Pittsburgh hospital explores the race-against-time world of organ transplants from the perspective of the medical team, the organ recipients, the donors and their families. Alex O’Loughlin plays adored leader of the surgical team Dr. Andy Yablonski, Katherine Moennig is feisty surgical fellow Dr. Miranda Foster and Daniel Henney plays resident lothario Dr. David Lee.

Time to head downstairs and make some tortillas; going to try a tortilla pizza and see how that works out.  I will just add the Italian seasoning stuff to the sauce, but I will let ya know how it goes.  Of course eyes be downin a beer too and be watchin me some of that there Stargate.

G’night and have a wonderful day or night.

Life is too short not to live long,

JD
