3am – 18min
I was really worried about this sleep session, since I skipped the last one. Although I was downstairs and the couch felt so good, I decided to come upstairs and sleep on my little blanket pallet on the floor. Glad I did because I went right to sleep and woke once the timer went off. Well, now is the danger time. This 3am – 7am has been my bane. Going to head back downstairs and watch some more “Ugly Betty”.
7am – 36min
Once the timer went off from the nap, I immediate reset it and fell back to sleep. Something I think I will do from now on. If I don’t immediately sit up then I will just reset the timer, in case I fall back to sleep.
11am – 32min
I had breakfast at the local Whataburger, however it was about 10:50am when I left so I took a nap in the parking lot. Luckily I received a text that woke me up 32 minutes later. I woke a little more tired than normal.
3pm – 15min
This might as well be 7pm, since I didn’t lay down until around 6pm. Right now I am awake, but my sight is really blurry. Probably has more to do with personal issues than Polyphasic sleep.
7pm – 18min
I started about an hour late. Fell right to sleep. I might add I had four cups of coffee today My eye sight is clear now. I am a little groggy but expect that will clear up shortly.
11pm – 10min
I should have laid down at 10:30pm when I was sleepy, but I started working on new plugins and woke up. I tried to sleep around 11:30pm and I didn’t fall asleep right away. Plus, Callie, my cat, who usually just goes to sleep with me, decide it was play time and kept attacking me. So I played with her and just didn’t bother to stop the timer. However, eventually I drifted off.

Tip #1 – Find a place that is uncomfortable to sleep. I wish I started sleeping on the floor sooner. Especially important when starting this type of sleep schedule. Otherwise you might find yourself not wanting to get up out of the sleep magnet bed or that comfy couch.
