Polyphasic Sleep Day 39

Total Sleep Time: 2 hr 46 min

3am – 14 min

Started Late – about an hour

Meals

  • Artesian Water
  • 1 Pretzel Rod with organic mustard

I wasn’t really tired but I thought I would lay down anyway.  I was already over an hour late.  I laid down and eventually fell asleep.  Now, I am about to make a steak for umm, dinner I guess.  Although it is 4:40am, so hmm… well, I guess I will anyway, plus I am supposed to sleep again soon.  This will be an interesting day.

6am – 1 hr 42 min

Started Late – about 30 min

Meals

  • 1 beer
  • 1 New York Strip steak
  • 1 potato cut into french fry strips and fried up

I wasn’t too tired but thought I should lay down anyway.  I woke with the cell phone, but continued to lay down and fell back to sleep and then the computer alarm woke me.

3pm – 22 min

Started Late – over an hour

Meals

  • Artesian Water
  • 5 cups of coffee
  • potato, egg, & cheese taquito (Whataburger)
  • bowl of gumbo (Mainstreet)
  • about 10 large jalapeno pretzel twists
  • 1 pretzel rod with organic mustard

I was running late on this nap as I was driving home and I decided to wait instead of just pulling over in a parking lot.  I fell right to sleep and woke to the cell phone, but turned it off and fell back to sleep and woke to the computer alarm.  I felt rested but still wanted more sleep.

7pm – 28 min

Started Earlier – just over an hour

Meals

  • Artesian Water

Coming off of the 3pm nap I was feeling groggy and just wanted to lay down.  So, I did.  I remember looking at the computer monitor clock and thinking I should set it, but then I fell asleep before I did.  Although, this could have been disastrous, I woke after only sleeping a little longer than normal.   Now I just have to set my 11pm time for under 14 minutes… hmm… we shall see what happens.

11pm – 00 min

Meals

  • Artesian Water
  • Double Decker chalupa thingy with chicken

I set my cell phone for 15 minutes to make sure I went under the 14 minute mark, however I never fell asleep.  I am sure this will probably cause problems for tomorrow, but hey that is tomorrow. :-)

Total Sleep Time: 2 hr 46 min

Thus ends day 39 of the Polyphasic Sleep Project overall I felt pretty good wasn’t overly tired today.
