Polyphasic Sleep Day 47

Total Sleep Time: 3 hrs 21 min

3am – 2 hr 19 min

Started Late – depending on the time change, but I am going with 2 hrs


  • Artesian Water
  • 4 pretzels

I was running late because of Kyle XY.  By-the-time I laid down it was a few hours late and I was out almost immediately.  I didn’t hear or remember a single alarm, just knew I woke and it was much later than the 20 minutes I planned. If feel really rested though :-)

7am – skip


  • none

I was sleeping through this time session.

11am – 23 min


  • Artesian Water
  • 1 cup of coffee
  • Migas Taco

I just can’t seem to shake this tired feeling today.  I fell right to sleep and didn’t wake until the computer alarm.  I feel really tired.

3pm – 22 min


  • Artesian Water
  • 1 cup of coffee
  • Chicken taco with homemade organic tortillas

I was very tried going into this session.  I went right to sleep and woke via the computer alarm again.  I feel a little more rested, but still kind of tired and a longing to go back to bed.

7pm – 17 min


  • Artesian Water
  • 1 cup of coffee
  • Cottage Cheese with Flaxseed Oil and organic fruit & nut trail mix

I finally started to feel good again.  I wasn’t too tired when I laid down, but fell right to sleep.  I woke in the last minute before the alarm went off.  I feel awake now.

11pm – 00 min


  • Artesian Water
  • 1 cup of coffee
  • 2 homemade tortillas – trying a new recipe today and wow they are good!
  • 4 Jalapeno Pretzels

I was really sleeping as this session approached.  I laid down ready to fall right to sleep and never did.  Although I did dream.  Sometimes I would be so much into the dream that I would start to actually respond out loud to a question in the dream.  I would then realize I just said something out loud and I would laugh at myself .

Total Sleep Time: 3 hrs 21 min

Thus ends day 47 of the Polyphasic Sleep Project and overall it was a very tiring day.  I supposed it might have to do with all the number crunching and data entry I am doing for March Madness.  It is extremely mind numbing sometimes.
