Polyphasic Sleep Day 51

Total Sleep Time: 3 hrs 19 min

3am – 2 hrs 42 min

Started Late – about an hour


  • Artesian Water
  • Spaghetti with a spinach chicken marinara sauce.

I started this session late because I was watching Kyle XY: Season 2.  I planned on only sleeping for around 20 minutes, but after I woke and turned off the alarms, I laid back down and went to sleep.  I awoke on my own, but I feel very sleepy.

7am – Skip

I had just woken up so I skipped this one.

11am – 15 min


  • Artesian Water
  • 1 cup of coffee
  • Egg & Cheese Taquito

I was very tired going into this session.  I fell right to sleep, but woke with 3 minutes left on timer. Right now, I am tired and want to go back to sleep.

3pm  – 17 min

Worked out

  • Arms – strength maintained
  • Walk at trail


  • Artesian Water
  • cheese soup & salad

I went right to sleep and woke with the cell phone alarm.  My work out went better than I thought it would, it had been two weeks since I last worked out last and thought maybe I would be able to lift the weight, but all was good.

7pm – 11 min


  • Artesian Water
  • 2 cups of coffee
  • cottage cheese with flaxseed oil

I didn’t think I was going to fall asleep, but I eventually did.  I feel pretty rested now.

11pm – 11 min


  • Artesian Water
  • 3 Pretzel Rods with organic mustard

I laid down thinking I wouldn’t fall asleep.  I almost just got back up, but eventually I fell asleep.  I woke to the cell alarm and I feel rested.

Total Sleep Time: 3 hrs 19 min

Thus ends day 51 of the Polyphasic Sleep Project and overall it was an average day it seemed; not too tired not too wired either.
