Polyphasic Sleep Day 68

Total Sleep Time: 5 hrs 42 min

3am – 5 hrs 12 min

Meals

  • Artesian Water
  • 1 Beer
  • Chips & Salsa

I decided since it was Sunday that I would try and sleep without the alarm.  Not a good thing since I had so much work to do before 11am.  However it all worked out, but I did end up sleeping for ages.

11am – Skipped

Meals

  • 2 Cups of Coffee

I didn’t even notice this time slot at all.

3 pm – 20 min

Work-out

  • Walk at trail

Meals

  • Artesian Water
  • 2 cups of coffee
  • Migas Taco
  • Grilled Cheese from Diamond S

This was actually 2 nap sessions, one about 1.5 hours before the time and then about 15 minutes after.  I took the first nap at the trail in my truck.  The wind was blowing hard and it felt good blowing through the windows, so I 9ut the seat back and fell asleep.  Then once I got home, I was somewhat depressed and just didn’t want to do anything, so I laid down and took a 10 minute nap.

7pm -  5 Min

Started Late – about 30 min

Meals

  • Artesian Water
  • 1 cup of coffee
  • 1 organic banana

I was a little late getting started and wasn’t sure I should even bother, but I tried and eventually fell asleep.  I woke about few seconds early and turned off my alarm.

11pm – 5 min

Meals

  • Artesian Water
  • 1 organic Apple

It took a while to fall asleep and then I woke with 3 minutes left on the timer.  I ended up just turning it off and getting up.

Total Sleep Time: 5 hrs 42 min

Thus ends day 68 of the Polyphasic Sleep Project and overall it seemed like a really long day… hmm…  Anyway, I think I will try for a 2 hour core tomorrow.  Three hours just seems like sleeping too long, but I will see what happens.  I will be adjusting the core for the next few days to see what is best (easiest) for me.
