That is one of the wonderful aspects of WordPress, it is free and it is open source. There is alot of information and countless forums in case you run into trouble or want to do something different. Chances are, someone else has done it or had a problem and there will be a code to do whatever it is you wish. You might not understand the code, but if you just put it where they say, it usually works out well.
