3am – 3hr 4min
So I was watching Ugly Betty, and I thought, okay it was getting a little bettor, that was an emotional scene. I was running late about 30 minutes for the nap and I was laying on the black hole couch where nothing escapes the event horizon of this extremely comfortable beast and I was buried under the electric blanket and I thought, okay, I would try and take a nap in on the couch. I got my timer and fall asleep. I don’t remember the timer going off, I don’t remember any dreams, I don’t remember anything, except it was now 3 hrs later. That couch is very anti-polyphasic, I told it, it better get on board with this, but it never responded which I suppose is a good thing.
7am – skip
Didn’t even bother to even think about sleeping this time. Although as I write this my eyesight is getting a little blurry, hmm… I am drinking a couple of cups of organic coffee, so maybe that will help.
11am – 13min
I couldn’t fall asleep. I got tired right on time, but laid there. I finally drifted off, but right now I am a little tied. I still am drinking that coffee, so hopefully that will help wake me up again. My eye sight is back to normal.
3pm – 16min
I didn’t fall right to sleep, but I did pretty quickly. I woke with 10 minutes left, but fell back to sleep and woke with 30 seconds left. One of the things I was worried about was my work-out with heavy weights and today I was able to move up in weight on both my biceps and triceps, so that was nice.
7pm – 28min
I fell asleep and forgot to set the timer, however, my plan B kicked in as I did set the alarm on my computer, so that woke me. I feel awake and ready to go, although I have nowhere to go, but I am ready.
11am – 00min
I laid down about 30 minutes late. I was tired and thought I would fall right to sleep, but for some reason I didn’t. I started on my back and at 13minutes left, I turned to my left side and at 4 minutes left I tried the right, but nothing worked. Now, I am not really tired, but I can feel a weariness in the eyes. However, as I was proofreading this, I started to yawn, a lot. So, I don’t know if I will make it to the 3am time or not. However, that is a problem for another day.
Thus end day 17 of the Polyphasic Sleep Project, hopefully tomorrow will be more productive.
