NBA
- 04 – Dallas / Boston –6
- 04 – LA Clippers / Atlanta –7.5
OMG!! I can’t believe I made two errors on the same day when placing the bets! Human nature can just really screw with you. First Dallas just kicked some NY Knicks booty, coming off a strong win you know they are pumped and heading into Boston. Six points is a lot of points to give to them. They just may the win game outright. grr…
Clippers and Atlanta, this should be a close despite the disparity in the standings and giving Clippers 7.5 point, crazy, crazy! I can not fix this error I made of putting way too much down on Atlanta
I made an error with Bet Mania first. Usually when I make an error, I just let it go. I accidentally put down 50% more than I should. Since I believe GOD has a hand in our fate I usually just take this to mean, okay, I was steered in that direction. However, I stared at the bet for a long time. While it is nice GOD was trying to get me more money, what if I was supposed to realize this and try and cancel the bet and then blog about it for others to read. Since, I can’t be sure either way, I thought for a moment of losing and winning. It would be nice to win the extra cash, but if I have faith in God’s divinity to have moved events to create this system then perhaps it will do well without direct involvement. So, I chose to call up and see if I could cancel because losing could lead to a very bad scenario and winning would just be a bonus. So, I called BetMania up and they changed the bet amount for me. Great people over there. Many places will just refuse.
Next, I called Bet Online, because I had putt 100% more down on the Clippers/ Atlanta game. I know, crazy! Anyway, BetOnline refused, which really sucks. That is a major issue with online books. Even if you make only 1 – 2 mistakes a year at a book, many will not cancel a bet. Even if you call within minutes after you posted it, even if the line hasn’t moved, they just refuse. So, now it is in God’s hands, as it always is, just gotta have faith.
Best of luck to us all,

Good thing I was able to get that bet returned to the correct amount. However, I still have not been able to fight off the sadness when I lose big games like this. I know it will work out, but still, winning is so much more fun.
G’night and see ya tomorrow,
